IIZUKA Developer David takes on Birmingham Marathon to raise money for Shelter
On Sunday 15th October David will be taking part in his first ever Marathon, raising funds for Shelter. A keen runner, David has completed three half marathons, but this will be his first attempt at a full marathon.
Inspired to take up the challenge by the fact that this is the first full marathon in his home city of Birmingham, David decided that the time had come.
He’s been training hard and recently completed a 23.4 mile training run, so he feels ready for Sunday.
He’s challenged himself to complete the 26.2 miles in less than three and a half hours!
