Case Management in the digital world

Efficient and effective case management is vital for many public sector organisations providing a range of human services. Some cases can be incredibly complex, such as those requiring multi-agency involvement, with complex family relationships, time-critical operations or those which operate across borders. The days of paper files and complex spreadsheets are long gone - managing these cases effectively requires specialist software from expert providers.

Potential customers in Government, local government and the third sector can now use the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) new Vertical Application Solutions (VAS) procurement framework to purchase Case Manager, as well as its online catalogue, G-Cloud 13.

The VAS framework allows customers to identify suitable suppliers for their specific software needs and purchase via direct award, or after further competition. The framework launched in May 2023 and runs until September 2025, with an option to extend for a further 18 months. Case Manager is available in Lot 1: Business Applications, covering revenues and benefits solutions and Lot 2: Education, Community Health and Social Care Solutions.

Case Manager can also be purchased via G-Cloud 13, the Government’s online catalogue, where public sector customers can buy cloud-based software solutions. Find out more here: https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements/RM1557.13.

Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
