IIZUKA’s charity partner is St Basils, a fantastic charity that supports young people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, across the West Midlands.

With the cost of living crisis biting hard, St Basils are short of £5 per night for each young person staying at one of their 40 housing projects.

We are therefore delighted to announce that we have donated £5,000 to St Basils this Christmas, enough to cover the deficit for 1,000 nights of housing support over the winter.

St Basils’ Head of Fundraising and Communications, Barrie Hodge, said:

“We are overwhelmed and humbled by this wonderful donation to our cause by IIZUKA.  The current cost of living crisis, combined with the multitude of reasons why young people require our support will put added pressure on our services this winter.  This donation allows us to continue our support of young people when they need us most.  On behalf of all the young people we support at St Basils, thank you.”
