Student WROSeS Features

General

Student WROSeS stores case information about clients. This case information is broken down into different types of record for storing the different aspects of each case. The types of casework are:

Clients

A Client is a Student whose details have been recorded in the system by casewokers for the purposes of advising them. Their records can be accessed at a later date if the person visits the service with a new case. A client is distinct from a case because the same client may visit the service with regard to more than one case.

Case Work

A case may be either open or closed. When a case is open this indicates that the case worker still has activities to complete or is awaiting resolution of some external activity. Caseworkers can process their advice work using:

Once a case has been closed it may be re-opened again if further additions to the record need to be made. Full version control history will be available on any changes made.

Notes

A Note is supplementary information relating to a Case that does not fit into any of the structured data held in the main case record.

A caseworker will typically create notes that contains description information, commentaries or on ongoing events on a case.

Files may be uploaded to the application and attached to a Note.

When a note is edited, either by editing the main note data or by adding or removing an attachment, a copy of the current state of the note is recorded in the Note History.

Reminder

A Reminder is a general prompt for a user to do something at a particular time. Reminders must relate to a Case.

Appeal

An Appeal record represents an appeal hearing relating to a client’s case. Any number of Appeals may be linked to a Case.
