Donald Malcolm

Donald's corporate career up until 1992 spanned the British Army, Ferranti plc and British Aerospace. During this period he was at the centre of several multi-national projects where rapid product development to customer requirements was critical to sales.

Donald left corporate life in 1992 to test his general management skills as an entrepreneur. Since then he has been involved in the start up of three high tech companies. His first company won a John Logie Baird Award and a SMART Award for Innovation in 1996.

Donald met other members of the IIZUKA team in 2001. As well as a long exposure to frontline new product sales and marketing, he contributes a solid background in sustaining robust business models and managing contractual and intellectual property issues. He is also company secretary.
