Advantage West Midlands Re-appoint IIZUKA
Advantage West Midlands (AWM), the regional development agency, has re-appointed IIZUKA Software Technologies to support and maintain the software platform on which its core website operates.
Sian Jamieson, e-Communications Team Leader at AWM, says ‘IIZUKA delivers a proactive and responsive service as well as technology leadership and we are happy to work with this aspiring local company’. The company’s KOZO® technology platform was installed in 2003 and IIZUKA® have been involved in the growth of:

In addition, The British Midlands website http://www.therbritishmidlands.com, that promotes both the east and west Midlands, is managed on the platform by AWM. The West Midlands region is at the heart of the UK and comprises:

the counties of Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire;

the three unitary authorities of Herefordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Telford & Wrekin;

the seven metropolitan districts of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
IIZUKA do not have responsibility for website design or content but provide the enabling KOZO software technology. The ongoing support and maintenance agreement was renewed on 1st January 2006.

Advantage West Midlands was established by the Government in 1999 along with seven other RDAs, to transform England’s regions through sustainable economic development. All RDAs are non-departmental public bodies that are accountable to the Department of Trade and Industry.
